'Bheemla Nayak': Fighting still evokes a mythical reference

Divine elements or references to mythology have been a feature of Trivikram's movies. 'Katamarayudu' song from 'Attarintiki Daredi' and the Nakula Dharmam fight in 'Agnyaathavaasi' are two examples.

In 'Bheemla Nayak', it seems Trivikram's writing ensured the infusion of a divine element without making it obvious. We see Pawan Kalyan trying to break the arm of Rana Daggubati in the climax fight in the same fashion as Lord Hanuman attacked someone in the Ramayana.
The resemblance has not been lost on the viewer. Many fans of Power Star are busy sharing a poster juxtaposing the two images.
Directed by Saagar K Chandra, the film has Nitya Menen and Samyuktha Menon in other roles. Also featuring Samuthirakani, Murali Sharma and Pammi Sai, its music is by Thaman. The film has crossed 2 million dollars (gross) in the US.
