Bhavana lauds Navya Nair's performance in Oruthee

Actress Navya Nair is back in Malayalam cinema after a long gap with the VK Prakash directorial 'Oruthee', that has opened to positive responses from critics and audience alike. Recently, actress Bhavana Menon watched the movie and had the sweetest appreciation note for her friend and actress Navya. The actress took to her Instagram story and penned a note on how terrific was Navya's performance as Radhamani in the movie.
“Watched ‘Oruthee’ last night and I am running short of words!! I was on the edge of the seat as it was so thrilling!. Watching Navya Nair on screen after 10 years! Woww Navya what a comeback! There is no debate that you are one of the finest actors we have, the way you portrayed ‘Radhamani’ is the high point of the film!" penned Bhavana who also showered praises on the other actors in the film including Vinayakan, Adithya, and Saiju Kurup for their brilliant performances in the film. She also praised the movie's director VK Prakash for crafting the movie. Navya too shared the screenshot of Bhavana's story on her Instagram handle and thanked the actress. “Thank u Bhavi (Bhavana). I am waiting for your come back too babe," wrote Navya.
‘Oruthee’, penned by S Suresh Babu, is a female-oriented story that revolves around the mishaps faced by a woman named Radhamani’ in a span of three days. The movie also features Vinayakan, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Manu Raj, and Chaali Pala in pivotal roles.
On the work front, Bhavan too is making her comeback in Malayalam cinema. A week ago, the actress announced her next titled Ntikkakkakkoru Premondarnn that will be written and helmed by debutant director Adhil Maimoonath Ashraf. The upcoming movie will feature Sharafudheen in the lead role. Announcing the family drama, the actress shared a first look poster that features the graphic art of a young girl surrounded by everything she loves in her life. It is reported that the movie's shoot will start from the first week of May in Thrissur. More details are awaited!
Recently, the actress hit the headlines after she made her surprise entry at the inaugural ceremony of IFFK. Bhavan, a sexual assault survivor, was welcomed on stage with a thunderous applause at the International Film Festival of Kerala. The actor lit the lamp with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and other artists. This was the actress's first public appearance in Kerala, since the 2017 sexual assault on her, when she was kidnapped by a gang of men in the car while returning from work. The case is being heard by a court currently and among the accused is fellow actor Dileep.
