'Mahathma' heroine Bhavana is injured at the shooting of her Kannada film 'Jackie'. She was shooting with Puneeth Rajkumar on the Bangalore Highways yesterday.

According to the scene Bhavana and Puneeth were travelling on a motor cycle and on the way Bhavana was supposed to pull sugarcane from a passing lorry carrying a sugarcane load. When the director Suri said action the lorry passed and Bhavana pulled a cane but she pulled it fast and because of the speedy action her body jerked and the bike lost its balance. Even Puneeth could not control it and they both fell off the bike.

Bhavana was injured with severe bruises on her hands and legs. The doctors have advised her to be at rest for a week before resuming work.
