Bhavana replaces Trisha

The most genuine hit of 2018 is without doubt '96' directed by Premkumar and starring Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha which has appealed to all sections of the audiences and also tasted huge box office success. The film is now being remade in Kannada under the title '99' with Ganesh reprising the role of Vijay Sethupathi. The makers have roped in Bhavana to play the role Janu made famous by Trisha in the original.
Ganesh and Bhavana made a hit pair in 2012 with 'Romeo' and are coming together again after six years. '99' is directed by Preetham Gubbi and shooting starts on December 17th and Bhavana's portions will be shot in early 2019.
