Remember Mallika, who was part of films such as 'Autograph' and 'Thirupachi'. She has turned a director, with a Malayalam movie titled 'Pazhaniyile Kanakam'.

It was widely publicised that Bhavana was playing the female lead in the film. However, the 'Chithiram Pesuthadi' actress has said that she was only doing a guest role.

"I accepted to be part of the movie since Mallika is my friend. My shoot was only for two days. I am just doing a cameo. But it is being publicised as if am playing the heroine," she said.
