Bhatts and T-Series dispute over JANNAT settled

Following is the official announcement around the dispute between Bhatts and T-Series over the music rights of JANNAT being settled:

This is to inform all the channels/ media that the dispute between M/s Super Cassettes Industries Ltd and M/s. Vishesh Films Pvt. Ltd., with regard to the ownership of Audio/ Audio visual rights of the songs of the feature film " JANNAT- IN SEARCH OF HEAVEN" has been resolved amicably with the intervention of Mr. Pahlaj Nihalani ( President, AMPTPP) and Dispute Settlement Committee members in the presence of Mr. Mukesh Bhatt representing M/ s. Vishesh Films Pvt. Ltd., and Mr. Bhushan Kumar representing M/s Super Cassettes Industries Ltd.

As per the Settlement Deed dated 18th February 2008 in presence of AMPTPP and Agreement between M/ s. Vishesh Films Pvt. Ltd, and M/s Super Cassettes Industries Ltd., dated 18th February 2008 and in lieu of the above a new agreement between M/ s. Vishesh Films Pvt. Ltd, and M/s Super Cassettes Industries Ltd. dated 18th February has been signed for the audio / audio visual rights of the songs of M/ s. Vishesh Films Pvt. Ltd.'s fim titled " Yeh Dil Na Hota".

In view of the settlement both the parties have mutually agreed to withdraw all the proceedings/ claims/ damages/ complaints filed against each other in various Courts, Economic Offence Wing and other Authorities with regard to audio/ audio visual rights of the songs of " JANNAT- IN SEARCH OF HEAVEN" and M/ s. Vishesh Films Pvt. Ltd., can sell the audio rights to any other party whomsoever and can promote the songs through any Television Channels/ Tele Companies/ Radio Channels etc. as they feel appropriate.
