Arvind Swamy is all set to give his fans a festive Pongal treat with his ‘Bhaskar Oru Rascal’ directed by Siddique. In this much anticipated movie Amala Paul is essaying the female lead.

The Tamil version of the film recently passed the censors with a UA certificate. However, the film’s original in Malayalam titled ‘Bhaskar the Rascal’ by the same director was awarded a clean U certificate. The Malayalam version which released in the year 2015 had Mammooty and Nayanthara in the lead roles. 

However, the reason for the difference in censor certification for the Tamil remake can be known only after the film’s release. ‘Bhaskar Oru Rascal’ also has an ensemble cast of Nasser, Robo Shankar, Soori and baby Nainika in other important roles as well.
