Bharathiraja plays baddie to Dhanush's villain

A new film titled Padai Veeran' is set to begin in the midst of June which has Vijay Yesudas in the lead role. It may be recalled that Vijay made his debut as villain in Dhanush's super hit Maari' last year.
It is now learnt that Bharathiraja has signed on to play the villain in Padai Veeran' directed by one of Maniratnam's former associates. Bharathiraja is currently directing and playing the lead in his dream project Kuttra Parambarai' and will simultaneously shoot for this new film which will be officially announced soon.
