"Rajnikanth can't be allowed to rule Tamil Nadu!" - Bharathiraja!

There are many politicians including Naam Thamizhar party leader Seeman, who have been frequently telling that Tamil Nadu must be ruled by someone from the state, and not by outsiders, and now popular director Bharathiraja has also voiced out a similar opinion.
In a recent event, Bharathiraja said Maharashtra is ruled by a Marathi person, a Kannadiga rules Karnataka and a person from Assam rules the state, and why should Tamil Nadu alone be ruled by some outsider? Tamil people cannot be cheated with some false examples, as they have woken up.
Bharathiraja further said that Rajnikanth is his friend and that is the reason he attends events along with him, but added that Rajnikanth claiming that he is a Thamizhan cannot be accepted, and that he is someone who came to live in Tamil Nadu. Bharathiraja's next movie Meendum oru Mariyathai releases on February 21.
