Looks like Bharathiraja, who introduced Kajal Agarwal in Kollywood with 'Bommalattam', is not ready to calm down even after the actress clarified that her remarks on south Indian cinema were misinterpreted.

"She was adamant even at the time of making 'Bommalattam'. But I didn’t take it big. However, she has now insulted the whole south Indian cinema. We should not allow this to continue," says the ace director.

"Members from important bodies like the directors and producers association should sit together and discuss the issue," Bharathiraja said and added: "We should make her apologize for her derogatory comments."

Kajal was recently quoted as saying by a section of the media that she never considered herself as a south Indian actress. However she denied it quickly and said she was misinterpreted. "I became popular only in Tamil and Telugu," she said.
