Kamal Hassan has officially begun his political journey. Nammavar`s political genesis has been attracting praises from prominent senior politicians and big names from the film fraternity as well. The latest to let out a detailed opion on the launch of Kamal`s party is veteran director Bharathiraja.

Stating the importance of wisdom over knowledge, Bharathiraja opined that former is very essential for political success. He also expressed that not only does becoming a poltician the conventional way by dishing out discourses et al is politics but it was also possible to convey socio-political messages through the medium of films as well.

“Kamal Haasan is one person who has creted such socio-political awareness to people through his films. He has done service to the people via his welfare clubs. Kamal has done all these service with no ulterior motive to gain political mileage, but as a selfless service. He has got the important qualities to become an efficient leader,” he said.

Further he also stated that only by the revolution of the people can change be brought about. He also recalled a Bernard Shaw quote which says that those who can do achieves, those who cannot advise and also identified Kamal to be someone who can achieve. Bharathiraja ended by wishing Kamal an enormous success in his political endeavour.
