Veteran SP Balasubrahmanyam is critical and is being given intensive treatment after the legendary singer had been diagnosed with COVID 19, and his son SPB Charan is regularly updating about SPB's health conditions on social media via videos.

The hospital management has also issued official statements and is constantly monitoring his health condition. Many fans and celebrities have been praying for the speedy recovery of SBP, and after Kamal Haasan and Rajnikanth, now veteran director Bharathiraja has posted a video message praying for SPB where he burst into tears.

Bharathiraja strongly believes that his friend SPB who is a self-confident person will be back soon and that God will revive him. In his emotional video, Bharathiraja recalled a word from his film song saying that SPB should not have any pain. During the recording of the video, Bharathiraja turned emotional and broke down, with tears rolling as he prayed for SPB's recovery.
