A hot news doing the rounds in Kollywood has cinema lovers excited which is that the two stalwarts of Tamil cinema Bharathiraja and Ilayaraja are reuniting for a new movie. The two legends who are very close friends in real life also frequently fight with each other and the last time they worked together was way back in 1992 in 'Nadodi Thendral'. Recently the duo met in Theni and shared their happy bonding photos on social media and have reportedly buried their differences.

The project is titled 'Aathaa' and is said to feature Radhika Sarathkumar in an important role. It is said that Nayanthara has been approached to play another major role.

A further highlight of 'Aathaa' is that Vetrimaaran is said to be on board and will contribute to the screenplay. All these tidbits are from various sources and have not been officially confirmed and the exact status will only be known after the lockdown.
