The team of 'Thiruthani' is busy with the project in Chennai. Raj Kiran is donning an important role in this one while Sunaina is paring-up for the first time with Bharath.

And the story goes like this- As usual the hero is a goody-goody man and the villain rubs shoulders with the hero and ignites his anger. What happens next is something we should all know by now! Now the next question is who is the bad man of 'Thiruthani'? Perarasu presents Ashish Vidyarthi as an unruly politician. Sources close to the team also had it that one can see Sunaina looking like ‘Arunthathee’ Anushka and does comedy for amusing the audience.

The multifaceted director planned to film in Thiruthani and Chennai. But, as the film need some colour, he had planned to take the lead pair to New Zealand. The whole team is busily doing the needful to fly to New Zealand.

‘Thiruthani’ happens to be Perarasu’s 7th directorial venture for which the story, screenplay, dialogues, lyrics and direction is handled by the director. As we had it before this one will have Perarasu as a music director as well this time.
