Filmmaker Vadivudiyan's debut feature film 'Sowcarpetai' is yet to release. But he has won the confidence of his producers that the production house has announced their next film with the same director.

The distribution rights of Srikanth-Raai Laxmi starrer 'Sowcarpettai' has been sold out in all areas and the producers John Max and Jones are highly delighted about the outcome of the film and the positive buzz the film has created. They have reportedly presented a new car to the director and also offered him another film under their banner.

The new film will also be a 'horrifying' horror flick titled as 'Pottu' and the story revolves around a Medical college. Bharath has been singed up to play the lead role in this film and a leading actress will play the female lead.

Amressh, son of veteran actress Jayachithra will be scoring music for the film. Na.Muthukumar and Viveka will be penning the lyrics. Elisa will take care of the editing while Kanal Kannan and Robert will head the stunt and dance choreography departments.

The shooting of the film is expected to begin this month.
