Bharath and Premgi Amaran will be seen playing lead roles in a film titled 'Simba', directed by Aravind Sreedhar. Bhanu Sri Mehra, who acted alongside Allu Arjun in 'Varudu', will be the heroine of the film.

According to sources, the story of 'Simmba' revolves around Bharath, who plays a junkie. "He has hallucinations and the script is from his point of view. Bhanu plays a news reporter and Premgi will be seen in an interesting role," sources said.

Shooting for the film will get a kick start soon and it will be shot in Chennai, Puducherry and other areas. "Simba will be a new attempt in Tamil cinema and the team is optimistic about striking a chord with the audience," added sources.
