Bet is a film that has love and friendship as its crucial elements. It stars Bharat and Priyamani in the leads. Directed by Suresh Krishna, the film's Telugu version is produced by Tondapu Nageshwara Rao.

Bharat's Tamil dub Premisthe was a surprise hit in Telugu and the film ran to packed houses. After a long time, it seems that the actor is poised to score another hit finally. It is because, there were no note-worthy films from him after Premisthe, with one or two insignificant releases going unnoticed.

Also, Priyamani's presence is sure to work for its popularity, as the actress is popular herself. Speaking about the film, the makers said that Bet is a film that tells even if traces of selfishness can be found in love, how friendship is free from the same. Here Bharat plays a youngster who is ready to sacrifice his life for sake of friendship.

It is to be seen who enters into a bet with whom in the film. It has dialogue by Sashank Vennelakanti, while music is by Deva.
