‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ trumps ‘Aravindha Sametha’ & ‘Rangasthalam’ on Twitter

The top 10 Twitter hashtags in India for the year 2018 is out.  Three Telugu films have found their place in the list.  Mahesh Babu’s ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ is at No. 3, followed by ‘Aravindha Sametha’ (at No. 4) and ‘Rangasthalam’ (at No. 5).  

Tamil films ‘Sarkar’ and ‘Viswasam’ are at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.  Rajinikanth’s ‘Kaala’ is at No. 6, while ‘2.0’ has not found a place in the top 10 list.  BiggBossTelugu2 (No. 7), MeToo (No. 8), WhistlePodu (No. 9) and IPL2018 (No. 10) complete the Top 10 list.  

No Telugu or Hindi film has found a place in the ‘MOST INFLUENTIAL MOMENTS ON TWITTER IN 2018′ list.  ’Sarkar’ is at No. 1 in this list, trumping even the #MeToo hashtag!  

#KarnatakaElection, #KeralaFloods, #Aadhaar, #JusticeForAsifa, #DeepVeer, #IPL2018, #WhistlePodu and #AsianGames2018 follow next in that order.
