'Bharat Ane Nenu', which was to take off sometime in February, will finally go to sets from May 18. Director Koratala Shiva has reportedly decided to start off the shoot with other members of the cast and not wait until Mahesh is free from his current assignment ('Spyder').

Produced by DVV Danayya, this one has music by Devi Sri Prasad, who is teaming up with Koratala for the fourth time in a row. Kiara Advani of 'MS Dhoni' fame is the heroine.

The subject of 'BAN' has a ring of 'Swades' about it. In the Bollywood movie directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar, Shah Rukh Khan returns to India and eventually finds his calling. Just as SRK was an NRI in that film, Mahesh is going to be one in his next.

If everything goes well, the film will hit the screens for Sankranthi 2018. It will lock horns with Allu Arjun's 'Na Peru Surya'.
