Controversies never seem to leave Sanjay Leela Bhansali in peace... Latest is about a row over the title of his upcoming Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Ram Leela’.

Filmmaker Mukul Abhyankar reported to have sent a legal notice to Bhansali citing that the title ‘Ram Leela’ belongs to him.

According to sources Abhyankar claimed that the title is registered with him and in 2010 was in the process of making a film with Naseeruddin Shah and Dharmendra in the cast but owing to some reasons the project didn’t take off. And now Abhyankar was going to kick-start the project again.

It is said that when Abhyankar initially had informed Bhansali about the title issue, the filmmaker had pacified him saying that it was just working title. Moreover Bhansali’s office had even tried to give compensation for the title, but Abhyankar had refused the offer.

Abhyankar had even send several reminders to SLB, but failed to get any responses.
