'Bhama Kalapam': Priyamani opens up on the AHA release

'Bhama Kalapam' is an up-and-coming web original to be streamed on AHA. Bharat Kamma of 'Dear Comrade' fame is its show-runner. The original will stream from February 11.
The 'Narappa' actress has said it was exciting to shoot for 'Bhama Kalapam'. The National Award-winning actress further added that the show is not only funny and witty but also dramatic. She will be seen as a YouTube chef named Anupama, who is a housewife. Her character experiments with recipes and is a hit among housewives. Helmed by Abhimanyu Tadimeti, the film is a comedy thriller where a crime investigation is a key track.
Contrary to speculations, Priyamani doesn't seem to have a grey role in the web film. The 'Virata Parvam' actress is interested in exploring OTT content in the coming years. The title has caught the attention of OTT audiences already. The technical output of the web film looks great.
'Maidaan' in Hindi, 'Cyanide' and 'Quotation Gang' are among her upcoming movies. The multi-lingual actress has been choosy about what she wants to do in both films and OTT space.
