It's known that the Hindi-language rom-com '2 States' is being remade in Telugu by debutant director Venkat Reddy. While Adivi Sesh is the male lead, Rajasekhar-Jeevitha's daughter Shivani will play a North Indian lover girl.

The news is that yesteryear beauty queen Bhagyashree of Salman Khan's 'Maine Pyaar Kiya' fame has been enlisted to do the rom-com. This is the return of the 49-year-old actress to Tollywood for the first time since Bakakrishna's 'Rana' 20 years ago.

The film will be officially launched on March 24.

The narration is more likely to be fast-paced in the remake compared to the original.

To be shot soon after the launch, this film will have music by Anup Rubens. This romantic-cum-family entertainer will be bankrolled by MLV Satyanarayana.
