"I think Tollywood has just come to the forefront. In Bollywood, films have been copied from the Southern film industries. Telugu and Malayalam film industries have got newer scripts and films to offer. It has always been there. But now the recognition is more also because of OTT," she said.
The 'Maine Pyar Kiya' actress also added, "People down South are willing to do pan-India movies. It's not about making monolingual films. It's about making good films regardless of linguistic barriers."
She described Prabhas as a down-to-earth person who is extremely humble. "I have played a danseuse in 'Radhe Shyam'. How her decisions influence her son's life is interesting. Director Radha Krishna Kumar wanted Prabhas' mother to look young and pretty. I was thrilled to do the film, whose sets are nothing like what I have seen in Bollywood. It's an amazing visual experience," Bhagyashree said.
