Veteran K.Bhagyaraj is waiting for his son to hit a high with his own directorial venture 'Siddu +2'. Santhanu who had a high decibel debut with 'Sakkarakatti' still hasn’t managed to get a place for him in Kollywood. How ever the father and son are very hopeful with 'Siddu +2' which will be released by Moser Baer immediately after the summer vacation when schools and colleges re-open.

Meanwhile K.Bhagyaraj has denied the news of him remaking his 80s hit 'Suvarillatha Chithirangal' with Santhanu. There was also news saying Bhagyaraj will sign either ‘Subramaniapuram’ Swathi or ‘Poo’ Parvathi for the female lead.

But now he has clarified to his assistants that he has no such re-make plans and is getting involved with his acting assignments. Currently Bhagyaraj is working in four films as an actor.
