Just a few weeks back, K Bhagyaraj was selected as the head of the South Indian Film Writers Association. He along with other members of the association have now filed a case against writer director Visu. 
 
It all started when Bhagyaraj assumed office and wanted to direct attention towards the educational welfare of people through the association. However, when asked about fund to Visu who was overseeing the charitable trust, he said fund cannot be directed towards education but only to help the underprivileged sections of the society.

Bhagyaraj however reasoned that the funds were taken from the association to form the trust and hence Visu’s response was not acceptable. So the members of the writers association after several talks, have filed a complaint on the trust’s head Visu, Secretary Piraisoodan, trustee Madhumitha with the police commissioner to obtain the funds which were taken from the writers association.

Bhagyaraj also confirmed that the commissioner promised to begin an investigation into this matter and get back to them as soon as possible. Here’s our Newsglitz video pertaining to the matter:
