'Bhagirathi' show for BJP tops

The offbeat Kannada film produced by BK Srinivas and directed by Prof Baraguru Ramachandrappa 'Bhagirathi' based on the folk tale 'Kerege Haara' after 50 days the Bharatiya Janata Party top leaders in state viewed the film on Sunday evening at Renukamb Digital theatre.

Bharatiya Janata Party politicians - BS Yediyurappa with his son MP BY Raghavendra, former Chief minister DV Sadananda Gowda with his wife Daaty, current deputy chief minister R Ashok and close friends of the politicians attended the special show of 'Bhagirathi' on Sunday evening.

Actress Thara Anuradha, Chairperson of KCA welcomed the party seniors with producer BK Srinivas who has tonsured his head recently. Thara Anuradha persoanlly handed over biscuits and coffee to top politicians.

'Bhagirathi' a film on the need of water in the pond for the welfare of the village is a sacrifice saga of junior daughter in law of the house sacrificing her life. It is base don folk tale 'Kerege Haara'.

Bhavana and Kishore play lead roles while Prof Baraguru Ramachandrappa is the director of this film. V Manohar has scored the music and Harish Sandekoppa is the cameraman of the film 'Bhagirathi'.
