'Bhaagamathie', starring Anushka in the lead role, has been produced by Pramod and Vamshi of UV Creations. The techno-thriller has been directed by Ashok G.

The news is that the movie's Tamil theatrical rights have been sold to Studio Green for Rs. 15 Cr. This is the sexiest possible deal for a heroine-centric movie with no star face.

As is known, it will hit the screens on Jan 26.

"Anushka`s performance is going to be a major highlight of the film. Madhi`s cinematography will be a special attraction, whereas artwork by Ravinder will be majestic. We are making the film on a massive budget. SS Thaman`s music will elevate each and every scene in the movie," the makers say.

Asha Sharath, Murali Sharma, Dhanraj, Prabhas Srinu, Vidyullekha Raman, Deva Darshan, Talaivasal Vijay, Ajay Ghosh, Madhu Nandan and others are a part of the cast.

A Telugu-Tamil bilingual, it will release in Malayalam, too.
