‘Bhaagamathie’: Makers claim new records

'Bhaagamathie' is a milestone movie if the claims of UV Creations are anything to go by.  On Sunday, it grossed one million dollars in the US.  This is the first for a female-centric film.

If you thought this is the only record of the movie, you are wrong.  As per a source close to the makers, the Anushka-starrer is also the first lady-oriented film in the South to storm into the Rs. 50 crore (gross) club.  In Nizam, the thriller has made Rs. 10 Cr already.

Directed by G Ashok, it also stars Asha Sharat and Jayaram in key roles.  Thaman's music, Madhie's cinematography and art direction have been deemed to be its big pluses.
