'Bhaagamathie' has a first in HD

'Bhaagamathie', which will hit the screens tomorrow (Friday), stars Anushka in the lead role. Even as the film is reportedly garnering highly encouraging advance bookings (and pre-bookings in Overseas market), here comes an interesting update about its technical highness.
This is apparently the first Telugu film to be shot completely in 4K High Definition format. "We believe that, in terms of technical excellence, it's going to raise the bar for sure," the makers say.
Director Ashok G is coming in combination with UV Creations. Production values (especially Ravindar's art direction, Thaman's music and Madhie's cinematography) are promising.
This is also one of the costliest female-centric films made in South India.
