'Bhaagamathie' First Look out, Anushka is daunting

A seemingly macabre as well as tormented Anushka is greeting us in the First Look of 'Bhaagamathie'. Produced by Pramod and Vamshi of UV Creations, the film has been directed by Ashok G of 'Pilla Jamindaru' and 'Chitrangada' fame.

The producers say, "We are proud to make this film with Anushka, who is in her career best form and has earned immense fame and craze with 'Baahubali'. The enthusiastic response to the FL has doubled our morale. Director Ashok has done a brilliant job in executing the story. Anushka`s performance is going to be a major highlight of the film. Madhi`s cinematography will be a special attraction, whereas artwork by Ravinder will be majestic. We are making the film on a massive budget. SS Thaman`s music will elevate each and every scene in the movie. We will announce other details soon."

Director Ashok says, "I am glad to work under a prestigious production house like UV Creations. I am taking utmost care as most of the films made under the banner have been blockbusters. You will see a new side to Anushka`s performance. The story and screenplay will surely captivate you. It's suspenseful and thrilling."

Asha Sharath, Murali Sharma, Dhanraj, Prabhas Srinu, Vidyullekha Raman, Deva Darshan, Talaivasal Vijay, Ajay Ghosh, Madhu Nandan and others are a part of the cast.

Music-directed by SS Thaman, it has the cinematography by the redoubtable Madhie. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor. Presented by KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green, the film's production works were completed in August itself. Since then, it has been the post-production phase. A techno-thriller. it's a Telugu-Tamil bilingual. Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan and Jayaram are also a part of the cast. It will be released in Malayalam as well.
