Thrilled that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi will release later today the music of his maiden film ‘Kanimozhi’, director Sripathy Rangasami says the movie revolves around two vital characters.

“They are Rajesh and Anu, played by Jai and Shazahn Padamsee respectively. The story will be narrated from the view of Rajesh and it comes with a beautiful philosophy,” the former associate of Venkat Prabhu says.

“I have penned this story immediately after completing my graduation. It was because of Venkat Prabhu I got an offer from producers T Siva and Sona to make it as a film. I am indebted to my mentor,” he says.

Reiterating that there is no character called ‘Kanimozhi’ in the movie, Sripathy says, “The title will however have enough significance. You will know the meaning once you watch the film. In other words, it is the theme of my movie.”
