'Bettada Jeeva' going great

For the last film 'Vimukthi' six times national award winning director P Seshadri paid Rs.45000 to get his print back from Kailash theatre in Bangalore. That is the fate of all off beat and Art films he cursed his fate.

That has made him to switch only to direction. Now for the Basanth Productions, Seshadri directed 'Bettada Jeeva' that is doing quite good in the fourth week at PVR in Koramangala. The film ‘Bettada Jeeva’ got rave reviews for the contents and it is showing at 7 pm in PVR to packed house is somewhat happy news.

'Bettada Jeeva' based on the seven decades old novel penned by Dr Shivarama Karanth, Jnanapeeth award winner is set in the Pre-Independence period with environment base.

The film won the best Environment film and a special mention for the story of late Dr Shivarama Karanth. Ananth Urs is the cameraman and V Manohar is the cameraman of this film.

HG Dattatreya, two times national award winning supporting actor, Rameshwari Verma, Suchendra Prasad, Lakshmi Hegde and others are in the cast of 'Bettada Jeeva'.
