Police rescue team saves man from committing suicide in Besan Nagar

Chennai Metropolitan Police, Besant Nagar Police Rescue Team was on duty at Besant Nagar beach when one of the persons who was talking there attempted suicide in the Elliots Beach, Besant Nagar, on Tuesday morning.
The Police Rescue Team, a special unit formed by the Chennai city police to prevent drowning and carry out rescue on beaches, saved him. Two members of the rescue team Sabin and Raja rushed to the beach and rescued the victim from the sea. The police officials, after offering him advice, sent him home.
The suspect was identified as Relangi Panindrakumar, 30, son of Venkateswara Rao of East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh, who fell in love with a woman working in Chennai. The video of him getting saved is currently going viral on social media platforms.
