Central Crime Branch Files Chargesheet Against Rave Party OrganizersThe Central Crime Branch (CCB) in Bengaluru has filed a comprehensive chargesheet against nine individuals accused of organizing a high-profile rave party at a farmhouse near Electronics City on May 15. The event, which attracted significant attention across Karnataka, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh, involved a total of 79 participants, including Telugu actress Hema alias Krishnaveni.
The chargesheet, submitted to the court on Monday, alleges that the accused not only organized the party but also supplied illicit drugs to attendees. Among those charged are event manager Vasu L, his friends Ranadhir Babu, Arun Kumar, Nagababu, Mohammed Aboobakar, and Nigerian national Augustine Dada.The investigation, led by Inspector Lakshminarayana, resulted in a 1,086-page document detailing the events of the night.
Evidence collected during the raid included MDMA pills, hydro cannabis, cocaine, hydro ganja, and various electronic items.Telugu actress Hema, who was among those present at the party, was subsequently arrested and charged with drug consumption under Section 27(b) of the NDPS Act. She has since been granted bail.Despite the discovery of an MLA sticker on an SUV belonging to one of the accused, police have ruled out any political involvement in the case.
The chargesheet includes statements from 82 witnesses, providing a detailed account of the party and the subsequent investigation.The case has raised concerns about the prevalence of drug use and illegal parties in the region. Authorities are now working to ensure that those involved in the event face the full consequences of their actions. The chargesheet serves as a significant step towards bringing justice to the situation and deterring future such incidents.
