A music composer in Bengaluru, who owns a studio and has reportedly composed music for Kannada movies and TV soaps, has been arrested for sexually harassing a 34-year-old woman.

The accused, identified as Muralidhar Rao, is a resident of Kumaraswamy Layout, adjacent to Banashankari, and runs a studio near a private college in the area. He had reportedly invited the woman to his studio after contacting her through a social media site, promising to help her get roles in his TV shows.

The woman later started receiving nudes from the accused, who did stop harassing her despite several confrontations. Later, she lodged a complaint against him in the KS Layout police station, and the police have determined that the accused has previously harassed several other women.
