As we had reported earlier veteran director Mani Ratnam's latest super hit romance flick 'O Kadhal Kanmani' is currently being remade in Bollywood. The remake titled as 'Ok Jaanu' is being directed by Shaad Ali with Adithya Rai Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles.

Now we learn that another super hit film directed by Mani Ratnam decades ago is now going to Bollywood. Prabhu, Karthik, Amala, Nirosha starrer 'Agni Natchathiram' that released in 1988 and turned out to be a super hit is going to be remade in Hindi by popular director Bejoy Nambiar of 'Shaitan' and 'David' fame. The filmmaker has apparently met the veteran director at his home in Chennai recently and obtained the remake rights.

The shooting of 'Agni Natchathiram' remake is expected to begin soon. The official announcement on the project will precede that.
