Legendary director Maniratnam collaborated with Jayendra Panchapakesan to create and produce Netflix's forthcoming anthology series "Navarasa".
Navarasa comprises nine segments representing the nine rasas of Indian classical art. Each segment is made by a different cast and crew. Netflix released a teaser showcasing the stars of the show projecting the nine rasas of Indian classical art.
Fans fell totally in love with the teaser visualized and helmed by director Bharat Bala of Maryan fame. The background score in the video is composed, produced, and arranged by A.R. Rahman. The brilliant promo video was captured by Sudeep Elamon & Vijay Karthik Kannan.
Yesterday, a making video comprising 'Behind the scenes' footage of the Navarasa teaser was dropped. The teaser was shot with "BOLT - High Speed Cinebot, Phantom Camera and Zeiss supreme prime lenses - Stereovision".
High-speed Stereovision Cinebot is an advanced tech camera that captures in high speed and produces the output in ultra slow motion. These kinds of cameras were previously used at Oscars 2020 to shoot famous Hollywood stars. Now, a Tamil production team has utilised this technology.
The team has put a lot of effort to make this monochrome promo with selective colour grading and also they have used water and fire effects. Navarasa is coming to Netflix on August 6 and streaming in nearly 190 countries.
