After teasing us perfectly with the #MenOfKalank – Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt’s character posters yesterday, producer Karan Johar grabbed this apt opportunity today i.e. on International Women’s Day and unveiled the #WomenOfKalank team – Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha and now finally Madhuri Dixit. For her role, the makers roped in Sridevi actually, but due to her sudden demise, the makers finalised Madhuri for the role.
Unveiling her character poster to the audiences, KJo wrote, “Enchanting, ethereal & timeless. The true ‘Begum’ of hearts, Bahaar!” While Alia described her as, “The ethereal and enigmatic enchantress! Presenting the one and only @madhuridixitnene as BAHAAR BEGUM”, Aditya wrote, “She's the enigma of a forgotten era . Presenting Bahaar Begum” Varun too shared her look and wrote, “मेरा क्या रिश्ता हैं bahaar begum के साथ @madhuridixitnene- one of the most spectacular working experiences of my life”

Madhuri will be reuniting with her ‘Khalnayak’ co-star Sanjay Dutt almost over two decades with this film. The trailer of ‘Kalank’ will be out on March 11 and it will hit the screens on April 19, 2019.
