Red hot update on Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Beast’ shooting restart

Film shootings have been brought to a standstill for the past three months owing to the second wave of COVID 19   and now the Tamil Nadu government has allowed it to resume with proper guidelines.   Today (July 1st) some of the films have started filming in various parts of Chennai.

Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Beast’ is also said to restart its journey on grand sets erected at the Gokulam Studios on the outskirts of the city.  A peppy song featuring the lead pair Vijay and Pooja Hegde tuned by Anirudh and choreographed by Jani will be canned during the next ten-day.   Pooja Hegde was snapped arriving at the Chennai airport from Hyderabad where she finished work on Prabhas’s ‘Radhe Shyam’.

The current schedule of;’ Beast’will continues on for another ten days for talkie portions.  The team already completed a major chunk in Georgia, the USA with Vijay and a few other cast members participating. 

Sun Pictures is producing ‘Beast,’ on a grand scale and the star-cast comprises of Thalapathy Vijay, Pooja Hegde, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, VTV Ganesh, and Aparna Das, Details of the chief antagonist is kept under wraps and is expected to be a surprising casting.
