Thalapathy Vijay's 'Master' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and costarring Vijay Sethupathi was one of the biggest hit not only among Tamil films but country wide in 2021. It broke records in spite of theaters being allowed to fill only fifty percent audience due to the pandemic.

The mass hero allotted bulk dates for his next 'Beast' and though there were delays in the shooting due to the obvious he wrapped up his portions on December 11th. Director Nelson Dilipkumar however continued shooting with his other cast members and on January 12th the entire film was completed and the post production is in full swing.

'Beast' produced by Sun Pictures with Anirudh scoring the music has Vijay and Pooja Hegde as the lead pair while Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Selvaraghavan, Aparna Das and VTV Ganesh play important characters. It has already been announced that the film will hit the screens worldwide in April as a grand summer treat for fans.
