In the past even after two times notifications no interest was shown. In the last one BDA applied new measures to attract.
Instead of lucky dip scheme of allotment of sites, it has announced direct sale of the flats setting up a separate counter. One deputy secretary, two engineers and three office staff team was set up.
In this new scheme the aspirants need not wait for buying the flats. First they have to pay the amount to the prescribed bank account. There is no application as such. Once the deposit amount is made they will be given registration card at BDA counter. Of course there is reservation too in this category of allotment.
The demand for 3 BHK flats is more and quick disposal of BDA flats is giving very good response.
