The 16th edition of IPL kickstarted last month and it is already one of the best seasons of the league. We all know that the 4-time champions Chennai Super Kings locked horns with the mighty Royal Challengers Bangalore last night at the Chinnasamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
The shocking news is that legendary RCB player Virat Kohli was fined 10 per cent of his match fee for infringing the IPL code of conduct in last night's game. According to Article 2.2, the 34-age cricketer is admitted to Level 1 offence under the IPL code of conduct. VK's fierce celebration after CSK batter Shivam Dube's wicket is the cause of this breach.
Faf Du Plessis, the RCB skipper, won the toss and elected to bowl first. CSK batted first and posted a colossal score of 226/6 at the end of 20 overs. Shivam Dube deposited 52 runs in 27 balls from his bat to the Yellow Army's total. Though CSK's fielding was below par yesterday, the side led by Thala Dhoni managed to defeat RCB by 8 runs.
On the other hand, Virat Kohli was seen enjoying his time with the CSK skipper MS Dhoni after the match. The two's bromance is well-known and the video of them chatting is doing rounds on the internet now. Kohli took to his social media this morning to share a photo with Thala from last night and it is trending now.
