Writer-director Anees Bazmi is looking forward to the release of his "No Entry", which marks his official foray into comedy, and says he is confident that the film will "more than live up to expectations".

Bazmi, who had earlier directed the thriller "Deewangi" and the romantic "Pyar To Hona Hi Tha", isn't really worried that his latest is a Boney Kapoor production with a multi-star cast of Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan and Fardeen Khan.

The writer of hits like "Bol Radha Bol" and "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi" says he is counting on "No Entry" to go beyond both his previous directorial ventures in terms of box-office response.

More than anything else, Bazmi is keen that the film does well for the sake of his close friend Anil Kapoor, who was instrumental in getting brother Boney Kapoor to sign him on when he decided to make a comedy.

Says Bazmi, "Had it not been for old friend Anil, this particular film would never have happened to me... I, Anil, Boney and everyone connected to the film are happy with the way the film has shaped up."
