There's no refuting this statement since fans world over will unanimously agree. Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes has declared in an open statement claiming 'Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice' is 2016's most anticipated movie.
The studio head talked about the clash of the superheros (two of DC Comics biggest characters) in the upcoming highly-anticipated 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'. Bewkes revealed that Warner Bros. hopes to release around 10 DC Comics movies within the next few years. And, those plans officially begin with 'Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice' in 2016, according to Bewkes.
Although there might be some opposition to that statement from other stuidos like Marvel and Marvel fans, Bewkes might not be too wrong after all. It must be noted that 'Batman V. Superman' will be the first film ever to feature multiple DC Comics characters and also set up the foundation for a DC Cinematic Universe with the 'Justice League - Part 1' scheduled for a 2017 release.
Here is the film's official synopsis:
"Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City`s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis`s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it`s ever known before."
'Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice' is scheduled for a blockbuster March 25, 2016 release date. The film's cast includes Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenbeg as Lex Luthor and Jason Momoa as Aquaman. The film hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
