With Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Entertainment gearing up for their next big release 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' early next year, the DC Cinematic Universe (DCCU) is currently under full swing. Their next film 'Suicide Squad' in the DCCU is underway filming in Toronto and it seems now speculations about Batman's appearance in the film maybe true. Or not.

It must be noted that in the recent past rumors were circulating that Batman would only be a presence in 'Suicide Squad' and that there wouldn't necessarily be an appearance. However, yesterday's images of Ben Affleck surfacing online at the set may prove those rumors wrong. It is being speculated that Affleck will suit up as Batman in a clash against Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) or his archenemy The Joker (Jared Leto).

'Suicide Squad' has a stellar star cast to its credit with actors like Jared Leto as The Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller Jay Hernandez as El Diablo (speculated) and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress.

'Suicide Squad' will be arriving in theaters on August 5, 2016.
