2005 was a year when number of mainstream stars were in a mood for an experiment. Sanjay Dutt and Aishwarya had their own share of experimental flicks when they co-starred in 'Shabd' that was a good work of art by director Leena Yadav but somehow went completely ignored. The plot revolved around a failed writer who instigated his wife to go ahead with an extra marital affair in order to help him write a story on this relationship.

Upcoming 'Anjaan' that stars Aamir Ali, Vipul Gupta and Mahek Chahal also sounds quite a lot similar as it is about a failed director and his troubled relationship with his wife. His wife goes on to have an fleeting romance with a stranger and the suspense lies in the fact that "Who is this stranger?" and "How does he enter their life?
