Remember Cyanide, the daring film that delved into the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi? The film, directed by AMR Ramesh, won accolades for its powerful story telling, and was even released into Tamil as Kuppy. The director is back with another true life called Police Quarters this time.
Police Quarters, is an interesting bilingual in the making, and is inspired by a fascinating story of love, sentiment and action, which happened in 1982. Made simultaneously in Tamil as Kavalar Kudiyiruppu, it has new comers Anees Tejeswar and Sonu in the lead.
Music for the film is composed by James Vasanthan of Subramaniyapuram fame, while the camera is cranked by Dwaraknath, who got a big break in Autograph. The film is being produced by Anitha and S Indumathi under the banner of Vasishta Films, with the story, screenplay, dialogues and direction handled by AMR Ramesh.
The film will be launched in a grand manner in the Dodda Ganapathi Temple on March 27.
