'Basanti' With Realistic Incidents

Talented director Chaitanya Dantuluri who made a decent mark with his debut film 'Banam' showing Nara Rohit as a rebellious young man is coming back with his next, this time with the backdrop of realistic incidents again. Titled 'Basanti', the film has Brahmanandam's son Gautham as the hero and debutante babe Alisha Begum as the female lead. Chaitanya is also turning a producer with the film.

Introducing the film, producer director Chaitanya said 'This is a story I had written even before I did Banam and is the sequence of incidents happening in the Basanti college of arts and science. Campus life is perhaps the most precious in every man's life with each and every moment to be preserved like a treasure. Gautham played the role of Arjun, the movie has finished the shooting part. Plan to launch the audio in November and the film in December'

Gautham said he was excited when the story was narrated to him. And thru my journey with the film, I learnt a lot as an actor and a human being'

Randheer Gatla, Naveena Jackson, Sayaji Shinde, Tanikella Bharani, Dr. KSI Anand, Dhan Raj, Mini Kiran, Bhanu Avirneni, Daya etc played the key roles.
