Till about 6 weeks back, if someone would have mentioned that a film called 'Bas Ek Pal' is releasing amidst competition in the likes of a Ram Gopal Verma film and a PNC film starring Mallika Sherawat in the lead, not many would have given it a second thought.

But this Friday when 'Bas Ek Pal' releases, it is considered hot in the trade though RGV's 'Shiva', PNC's 'Pyaar Ke Side Effects' and a small time film called 'Kachchi Sadak' come on the same day.

Numerous factors have worked in the favor of 'Bas Ek Pal', most notably being its superb publicity and media drive over last 4-6 weeks. Both the industry and the public in general has been made aware about this film starring Jimmy Shergill, Sanjay Suri, Juhi Chawla and Urmila Matondkar through number of publicity channels. Moreover the television promotion of the film has been just fantastic with the plot arousing a lot of curiosity due to innovative promos.

'Sone Pe Suhaaga' have been the songs that have worked in a big way with 'Tere Bin' topping the charts with others being highly melodious too. It would indeed be heartening if director Onir's take on urban relationships strikes it big at the box office!
