The husband-wife creative duo, Nitesh and Ashwiny Tiwari are at an all-time high after having had a great 2016. While Nitesh won the Filmfare Best Director award for 'Dangal,' Ashwiny won her Filmfare Debut Director award for 'Nil Battey Sannata.'

Ashwiny's next directorial venture 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' is written by husband Nitesh Tiwari and is a "slice of life" film starring Kriti Sanon, Ayushmaan Khurrana and Rajkumar Rao.

The three actors of 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' were really happy for their director and took to their Twitter accounts to congratulate her on her Filmfare Debut award.

Her debut film 'Nil Battey Sannata' was widely appreciated and critically acclaimed, and it would be interesting to see her venture into a completely different genre in 'Bareilly Ki Barfi.' It is touted to be a light-hearted romantic comedy.

Nitesh Tiwari's 'Dangal' has broken box office records by being the first Hindi film to enter the 350-crore club. The performances have been applauded and loved by the audience.
